Amanda Ammann, born Jan 8, 1987 in Uzwil, Switzerland, snagged Miss Switzerland in October 2007 at just 20. She hit up the University of Geneva for a bachelor’s in international relations (2010), then bagged two master’s – one from University of St. Gallen (2013) and another in human rights, peace & sustainability from University of Valencia (2016).
After that, she jumped into international development and humanitarian gigs, leading projects with big-name companies, NGOs, the Swiss Embassy in Manila, and even tackled field missions in Nepal after the earthquake. Since 2020, she’s been on the board of cewas, a Swiss NGO pushing water-sector entrepreneurs. She speaks German, French, Spanish, and English like a pro and works as a sustainability consultant in Switzerland. Oh, and she’s about 1.71 m tall.
