Meet Barbara Crampton, born December 27, 1958, an American actress who first popped off on the daytime soap Days of Our Lives in 1983 and hit the big screen in Body Double in 1984.
She earned her stripes as a “scream queen” with a string of horror flick roles, kickin’ it off with the horror-comedy Re-Animator in 1985. She also starred in joints like Chopping Mall (1986), From Beyond (1986), Castle Freak (1995), You’re Next (2011), and We Are Still Here (2015). Plus, she was known for playin’ Leanna Love on The Young and the Restless from 1987 to 1993.
