Mýa Marie Harrison, born October 10, 1979, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. Signed to Interscope Records in 1998, her debut album, Mýa, featured the top ten single “It’s All About Me.” Her 2000 album Fear of Flying included the hit “Case of the Ex,” boosting her global success. In 2002, she won a Grammy for Best Pop Collaboration for “Lady Marmalade” with P!nk, Christina Aguilera, and Lil’ Kim.
Her 2003 album Moodring produced “My Love Is Like…Wo” and went gold. After going independent, she released Sugar & Spice (2008) and K.I.S.S. (2011) for the Japanese market via her label, Planet 9. She also placed second on Dancing with the Stars (Season 9).
