Sonya Walger is an English television actress, best known for her roles in the ABC series “Lost” (as Penelope “Penny” Hume) and “FlashForward” (as Olivia Benford). She was born on June 6, 1974, in Hampstead, London, in the family of a British mother and an Argentine father.
Walger appeared on many British television shows before making her American television debut on HBO’s “The Mind of the Married Man” in 2001. Then she starred in the American version of the series “Coupling,” aired in 2003, and since then has played supporting roles in “CSI: NY,” “Sleeper Cell,” and “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.” From 2006 to 2010, she had a supporting role in ABC’s “Lost” series.
In 2007, Walger played a significant role in the HBO series “Tell Me You Love Me.” Then she starred in the short-lived series “FlashForward” (ABC, 2009-2010) and “Common Law” (USA Network, 2012). In 2013-14, Walger had a minor role in “Parenthood.” In 2014, she appeared in the series “Scandal.” The following year, Walger received a regular role in the new series, “The Catch.”
