At the risk of sounding like a major nerd, I am cautiously optimistic about this movie even though I know it will have a very different plot than the original. Fans of the GITS anime know that the Major is Kusanagi Motoko, and I doubt this will be her name in this live action adaptation. It isn't a deal breaker, but it's a bit of a bummer. Also, I think I saw a character in the preview who is supposed to be Batou, but it's hard to say. Oh yeah, and Scarlett Johansson is fucking hot, with or without nipples in this movie. Look up her hacked selfies if you're dying to see them.
