That's pretty normal. At times your tongue can be a little bit swollen or such and will be pressed against your teeth leaving depressions in the tongue. Imagine it like a tight ring around your finger. If you take it off, your finger will have a depression where the ring was and it'll take a while to normalize the skin to its usual shape.
