Candice King, born May 13, 1987 in Houston, Texas, is an American actress. She’s best known for playing Caroline Forbes on The Vampire Diaries (2009–2017), a role that blew her up and earned her a huge fanbase. She also reprised Caroline in the spin-offs The Originals and Legacies.
